Comments from the field: Wed., June 12 Got our first sample of wheat in today, (16.2). Wont be long now. Early indicators are that the test weights are going to be a little bit low, but overall I think the wheat will be better than we once hoped for. The March sprouted wheat has been very surprising in making grain, but the heat challenge on those plants will be even greater. The rain forecast has turned with the wheat, but harvest will surely attract a rain-out at some point. Hope you have a great harvest!!! Ed
